An age-qualified (55+) collaborative, sustainable community of active and involved neighbors in western ColoradoSilver Leaf, located in Paonia, Colorado, is a collaborative community of active and involved persons, working together for the greater good of the community with shared goals to live sustainably and harmoniously with neighbors, the wider community, and the environment.
The community of Silver Leaf consists of 10 small, universally designed homes and one duplex. The homes are approximately 1,000 square feet in size with two bedrooms and one or one and a half baths. Common amenities include fruit trees, artful landscaping and a common house. The common house includes a kitchen, bath and wood-burning stove in a multi-purpose room for social and educational gatherings, and a guest space for visiting family or friends.
