An age-qualified (55+) collaborative, sustainable community of active and involved neighbors in western ColoradoSilver Leaf, located in Paonia, Colorado, is a collaborative community of active and involved persons, with shared goals to live sustainably and harmoniously with our neighbors, the community and the environment.
The community of Silver Leaf consists of 10 small, universally designed homes and one duplex. The homes are approximately 1,000 square feet in size with two bedrooms and one or one and a half baths. Common amenities include an organic garden, fruit trees, artful landscaping and a common house. The common house includes a kitchen, bath and wood-burning stove in a multi-purpose room for social and educational gatherings, and a guest space for visiting family or friends.

The Town of Paonia
CONTACT USPaonia is a unique little town located in the North Fork Valley in western Colorado at the foot of the West Elk Mountains. Its character is created by a unique combination of agriculture and coal mining with a “hip” creative, foodie, intellectual component in a high desert setting that offers unlimited recreational opportunities. One could literally take a yoga class, have a farm to table breakfast, hike or mountain bike Jumbo Mountain, go for a cross country ski, visit an organic farm, and finish it off with a local wine tasting and a movie… all in the same day.
